Teleword offers a worldwide free service for SMS although it’s limited to 3 text messages per day. Registration is required in order to use the service.
The free SMS service is limited to several countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Sweden and Hong Kong.
There is also a paid for service which has worldwide delivery.
